At Love INC of Van Wert County, we believe lasting change happens when churches come together as one Church to love and serve our neighbors in the name of Christ. Through our Connection Center, volunteers listen, pray, verify needs, and connect people with caring churches, community resources, and practical support.

But Love INC is about more than meeting an immediate need. It is about building life-changing relationships that offer hope, encouragement, accountability, and support. Together, we help our neighbors move beyond crisis and take steps toward stability, growth, and the God-given potential He has placed within them.

When churches work together, lives are changed, and our whole community is strengthened.

WHAT Partnership looks like

For Love INC

Church partnership is essential to Love INC of Van Wert County. Through Love INC, churches are equipped to work together across denominational lines to provide coordinated, holistic care for people in need.

Partnership means focusing on the person, not just the immediate need. Through the Love INC Connection Center, requests for assistance are received, reviewed, and connected to appropriate church ministries and community resources.

Love INC provides specific and manageable opportunities for churches and volunteers to serve in ways that use their unique gifts and abilities. Together, we also identify gaps in community help and services and develop new ministry opportunities to meet those needs.

Partnership helps lessen the strain on any one church by organizing churches to serve together as one Church. As we work together, we present a unified witness of God’s love to Van Wert County in the name of Christ.

Partner churches also introduce Love INC to their congregation, refer requests for help to the Connection Center, encourage members to serve, accept referrals as agreed upon, support Love INC financially, pray for the ministry, and appoint a liaison to stay connected with Love INC.

For Churches

Partner churches live out the two greatest commandments — to love God and love their neighbors — by serving people in need throughout Van Wert County in the name of Christ.

Through partnership with Love INC, churches have opportunities to engage the God-given gifts, resources, and abilities of their congregation in meaningful service to others.

Church members are invited to participate in ways that fit their gifts and availability, whether through prayer, volunteering, accepting referrals, supporting gap ministries, giving financially, or helping meet specific needs in the community.

Partnership provides churches with specific, manageable, and meaningful ways to serve without carrying the burden alone. Love INC helps coordinate needs, referrals, and ministry opportunities so churches can work together as one Church.

As partner churches serve together, they build relationships across denominational lines, strengthen unity in the Body of Christ, and invite people to experience the love, hope, and transforming power of Jesus.

Our Partner Churches

Christian churches from at least eight denominations partner to form Love INC. Within these partnerships, Love INC serves as the scaffolding upon which greater growth is possible. However, it is the Christians in these churches who model Christ’s love and answer God’s call to serve. Working together as the body of Christ, we can best love and serve our community.
